First of all, let me apologize for the cheesy St. Patrick's Day graphics-- I just couldn't help myself since this newsletter is being sent on St. Patrick's Day weekend!:) But since we're on the topic of St. Patrick's Day, let's think for a moment about luck (you know, the whole "luck of the Irish" thing is a big phrase around St. Paddy's Day).

When it comes to luck, what do you believe? Do you believe that we make our own "luck" by being uber-prepared so that we're ready to pounce when opportunity knocks? I do. Of course, there is such a thing as just genuine luck... but we also do a lot of things to set ourselves up for success, to stay cognitively and emotionally open to opportunities, to evaluate those opportunities judiciously so we "happen" to pick the right ones... then again, maybe some of it is luck. As you can see, I go back and forth a bit here. What do YOU think? Feel free to hit "reply" to this newsletter if you have thoughts you'd like to share with me.

Thank you so much for reading my newsletter. I always appreciate any feedback or suggestions for future topics; and also connect with me on social media if you feel like connecting more than once per month!

Thanks again and take care.

Please understand I do not necessarily agree with, support or endorse any view or opinion expressed by the writers of the articles below. I VERY much enjoy interacting and providing opinions on certain COMPONENTS of issues, and I'm SUPER grateful for the chance to join the public conversation by providing relevant quotes whenever I'm fortunate enough to get a request-- truly, I'm very grateful! But please remember that I may (or may not) ultimately reach the same conclusion, or share the same foundational beliefs, as the journalist who is writing a story around a much broader topic than the particular COMPONENT of the topic where I'm fortunate enough to offer a comment. I really praise these wonderful journalists for sharing THEIR stories and THEIR views, which may be aligned with mine, or separate from mine, or somewhere in between. I'm mentioning this because both articles below happen to touch on politics, directly or peripherally-- so I'm just trying to "over-communicate" here that my views may (or may not) be aligned with the journalists quoting me on certain components of their stories below. If you want to read an article that focuses on MY thoughts on politics, click here. Remember you can always hit "reply" to this email if you ever want to share any thoughts or ideas of yours!:)
