Hi!
January is often when people take a closer look at their habits—what they want to change, what they want to keep, and where they may have been holding themselves back. New Year’s resolutions tend to focus on goals like speaking up more honestly, improving health, finding love, or building stronger relationships... but most don’t fail for lack of motivation—they fail because they aren’t designed to be sustainable. Real change starts with self-awareness and realistic strategies that can actually hold up over time.
In this issue, I’m sharing my blog on why most resolutions fail (and how to set goals that actually last), recent media conversations on free speech and self-censorship, and a January poll about what you’re prioritizing this year. My hope is that these tools help you move into 2026 with more clarity, confidence, and follow-through. 💬🧠
Warm regards,

Why Most Resolutions Fail—and What Works Instead
Most New Year’s resolutions don’t fail because of laziness—they fail because they’re built on unrealistic expectations and all-or-nothing thinking.
