GREETINGS FROM DR. CHLOE FOR OUR MAY NEWSLETTER
Hello,
Happy Tuesday!
What a wonderful Spring we're having... as we begin to (finally!) transition from quarantine life, many of us are experiencing a very positive time of renewal and reawakening. Of course, the transition isn't always seamless-- if it's giving you any anxiety, my free livestream "On the Horizon: Transitioning from Quarantine" is always available, plus we're launching a free discussion group on it, led by a coach at my office!
Spring here has been a flurry-- it was really fun to do some press around my book (of course!:) and also around the topic of Mother's Day. As a new mom myself, it is a totally fresh experience to share with the media on Mother's Day related events.
Stay tuned-- I'm super excited to share that next month the Nike TRAINED (they do all caps, I'm not shouting lol:) is having me on as a guest to discuss the extreme power of the body-mind connection. As a former yoga teacher, now a clinical psychologist, I'm super into this powerful connection. I'm considering doing a free livestream based on the Yoga-Emotion I did a few years ago, except doing it FREE and online. I'm also playing around with other free livestream topics like Charge What You're Worth; or possibly Overcoming Challenges. Is there one you'd prefer? Let me know!
As always, let me know anything else you'd like to see in these newsletters, or feel free to reply with whatever else you'd like. One little request I have: If you did get my books Nervous Energy: Harness the Power of Your Anxiety and/or Dr. Chloe's 10 Commandments of Dating, would you please consider reviewing on Amazon? It helps me a lot in the algorithms!:) Send me a screenshot of your review so I can be sure to thank you.
Thanks so much, and take care!
Best,
Dr. Chloe Carmichael PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
PS If you love the newsletter or see an article or video here that you think would help a friend, please feel free to forward this to them– it’s an easy way to show someone you’re thinking of them, and of course I always appreciate the chance to share with people who want fresh ideas!
YOU ARE INVITED!

19 tips and tricks for dating if you have anxiety, according to therapists One of my quotes: "Having other dates planned can be a great way to stay positive, so that you don't feel any huge pressure that this particular date must go perfectly"
One of my quotes: "Don’t be surprised if the person is unable or unwilling to acknowledge their passive-aggression. Sometimes passive-aggressive people don’t even really like to admit to themselves how they feel about things. They’re not even being fully honest with themselves so it’s very hard for them to be honest and direct with you." | One of my quotes:
"Your awareness of the fact that you’re starting to go off in a gloomy place is actually a step in the right direction. Congratulate yourself on seeing that."
So You Think You’re An Imposter… One of my quotes: "If you were constantly worried you weren’t truly qualified, and this spurred you to constantly work on improving your professional skills,” she tells Lemonade, “ the silver lining would be that you might ultimately end up more qualified thanks to all that obsessive self-improvement."
