Hello,

First of all, let me apologize for the cheesy St. Patrick's Day graphics-- I just couldn't help myself since this newsletter is being sent on St. Patrick's Day weekend!:) But since we're on the topic of St. Patrick's Day, let's think for a moment about luck (you know, the whole "luck of the Irish" thing is a big phrase around St. Paddy's Day).

When it comes to luck, what do you believe? Do you believe that we make our own "luck" by being uber-prepared so that we're ready to pounce when opportunity knocks? I do. Of course, there is such a thing as just genuine luck... but we also do a lot of things to set ourselves up for success, to stay cognitively and emotionally open to opportunities, to evaluate those opportunities judiciously so we "happen" to pick the right ones... then again, maybe some of it is luck. As you can see, I go back and forth a bit here. What do YOU think? Feel free to hit "reply" to this newsletter if you have thoughts you'd like to share with me.

Thank you so much for reading my newsletter. I always appreciate any feedback or suggestions for future topics; and also connect with me on social media if you feel like connecting more than once per month!

Thanks again and take care.

Warmly,

Dr. Chloe Carmichael PhD
