Hello,

Hope you are enjoying this amazing weather (seriously cannot believe it's February!). I know the Valentine's Day graphic is a lil outdated since this email is actually going out 10 days past Valentine's Day-- but just in case you are still thinking about Valentine's Day, please do check out my blog on the topic here!

Even if you're waaaay past Valentine's Day, hopefully you will still find other helpful info below-- there are great links on decision-making, to stress-management, dating, emotions, and everything in between. In case you didn't know, my focus as a psychologist is on what's known as "high functioning people". That means many of my articles/quotes/links/etc are geared towards people who are QUITE able to manage their lives in a basic sense, but are interested in stimulation to grow and reach even greater heights of personal and professional fulfillment... so hopefully at least ONE link below will help you do that.

Thank you so much for letting me pop into your inbox once-per-month. I really enjoy the chance to connect!

Warmly,

Dr. Chloe Carmichael PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

PS If you love the newsletter or see an article you think would help a friend, please feel free to forward this to them-- it's an easy way to show someone you're thinking of them, and of course I always appreciate the chance to share with people who want fresh ideas!

Fear of public speaking is the most common phobia. However, social anxiety can go far beyond giving a speech. Social anxiety involves an extreme fear of social situations in which you may be concerned about others judging you or about you making a fool of yourself. People with social anxiety may be affected by the condition throughout all aspects of their lives, or only in certain situations, like at work.
